Martin Butler, our Chairman, gives you five good reasons to join Calne Cricket Club......

  • Clubhouse:

We are very lucky to benefit from one of the best clubhouses in the county. We have the obligatory Pool table, some classy surroundings, CHEAP bar, small function room and a very family/partner friendly atmosphere.

  • Local fixtures:

The furthest league fixture is only Bath, so no long treks and pleanty of time for a bit of socialising and a drink or two.

  • Good mix of games:

Divsion One of the Wiltshire County Cricket league is currently an ideal level for the club. There is a nice balance of fixtures some for the more experienced and some for younger or newer players.

  • Socialising:

Calne Cricket Club is very family friendly and we actively encourage you to bring your partners, children, parents and dogs along. Many players do and this creates a great club atmosphere.

  • Coaching:

The coaching available at Calne Cricket Club is second to none! We train regularly at John Bentley School's outside nets:

Mondays - 6.30pm to 7.45pm - Under 9's & 11's
Tuesdays - 6.30pm to 8pm - Seniors
Thursdays - 6.30pm to 7.45pm - Under 15's
Fridays - 6.30pm to 7.45pm - Under 13's
